Timing Belt break, Jan 2009
The timing belt broke on the way home from work in Jan 2009. This was a used engine from a junkyard, and although the belt looked good when I inspected it - in fact it had been installed fairly recently - it had been kinked during installation, and failed catastrophically a short time after I finished replacing the engine.
